We are looking for a technically strong, energetic and experienced Software Architect to lead the technical vision, architecture strategy for our next-generation AI-powered Field Service platform and vertical solutions. You'll lead the design of secure, scalable, resilient and intelligent solutions powering industry verticals, while leveraging your technical expertise and strategic vision to drive innovation. This role demands not only exceptional technical expertise but also strong analytical, leadership, and influencing abilities, complemented by sharp business acumen. Here's how you'll make an impact:

  • Core Architecture Leadership: Shape next gen Field Service product architecture, setting foundational principles, frameworks, and standards to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Establish and evolve architectural principles, design patterns, frameworks, and standards across the platform. Provide technical leadership for modernization and cloud-first strategies while aligning with the company's north-star architecture.

  • Strategic Technology Partner: Collaborate with executive engineering and product leaders to translate intricate business needs into actionable technical roadmaps, driving key technology initiatives and shaping long-term product strategies and best practices.

  • AI Champion: Leverage LLMs, lead the integration of advanced AI and agentic solutions across our platforms, shaping the future of next-generation Field Service innovations.

  • Technical Innovation & Rapid prototyping : Dedicate time to hands-on coding, building proof-of-concepts, and validating emerging architectural patterns. Deliver rapid solutions while ensuring they are extensible, maintainable, and aligned with long term technical vision.

  • Distributed Systems & Cloud Expertise: Apply your deep knowledge of distributed systems, backend technologies, and multi-cloud environments to design and deliver robust, high-performance solutions.

  • Multiplier Leadership: Cultivate and drive the culture of engineering excellence by actively mentoring and guiding engineers, fostering their technical development and understanding of complex architectural patterns.

  • Enterprise Collaboration & Architecture Synergy: Influence and collaborate with cross cloud architect community driving technical alignment, fostering seamless collaboration, and elevating cross-team communication to accelerate innovation and delivery.

What We're Looking For:

  • 15+ years of hands-on software development experience with a proven track record of designing, building, and delivering large, complex enterprise-scale initiatives.

  • Proven expertise in shaping long-term architectural and design strategies that span multiple complex, large-scale projects, ensuring cohesive and future-ready solutions.

  • Deep experience with distributed systems, cloud-native development, and microservices architecture. Skilled in designing distributed, high-availability platforms with a focus on performance and scalability.

  • Mastery across multiple programming languages and platforms. Strong backend technology stack knowledge (Java, Python, or Similar) with deep API design expertise. Full Stack is a plus.

  • Strong data modeling, processing, and systems architecture skills.

  • Hands-on experience with AI, event-driven architectures, and data-intensive systems is highly desirable.

  • Passionate on solving complex problems, taking ownership, and driving ideas from conception to production.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across large, cross-functional organizations.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Proficiency with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).

  • Exceptional mentorship and leadership skills, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and technical excellence by guiding engineering talent and facilitating open, solution-focused discussions to resolve critical challenges.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $230,700 to $351,800. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $251,900 to $384,100.
