Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in North Kingstown, RI. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• The Machine Operator will operate various card production equipment to personalize debit/credit cards according to customers' specifications.
• Work with other operators, technicians, and supervisory staff to achieve daily/monthly goals.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments per written and oral instructions.
• Work independently, performing quality inspections on own work according to production standards.
• Identify potential production and quality problems, recommending remedial, corrective, or contingency action.
• Awareness and compliance with all security and production policies & procedures.
• Operate card production equipment and perform related activities
• Confirm work receipt
• Formulate and implement work priority decisions
• Exceed production output and quality standards
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments per written and oral instructions
• Work independently, performing quality inspections on own work to production standards
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Identify potential production and quality problems; recommend remedial, corrective, or contingency action
• Work with other operators, technicians, and supervisory staff to assist with problems and to create an effective work environment
• Awareness and compliance with all security and production policies/procedures
• Maintain housekeeping standards of the workstation
• Order supplies as needed
• Attend appropriate training and meetings as needed
• Meet safety standards

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $17.50/ hr

Hours: 40 hrs / Week (1^st shift)

Length: Temporary (5 months)

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with operating computers.

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical ability
• Minimum 1 year of experience in safety rules and maintenance instructions
• Basic math skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Good communication skills in both written and verbal forms
• Must be able to work in a high-paced environment.
• Good analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to establish credibility and be decisive - but able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• Required to be standing and operating a machine 6+ hours a day
