Position Highlights |

The primary function of this position is to coordinate logistics for the men's basketball team and assist in the development of student-athletes well-being. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel as needed. Duties & Responsibilities |
- Coordinate all aspects of the daily operations of the
Men's Basketball program as needed. - Work in conjunction with the Compliance Office and
CATS Academics on initial eligibility & admissions of all potential student-athletes. - Serve as an Academic liaison to CATS Academics.
- Liaison for Financial Aid of student-athletes in
cooperation with the Compliance Office (Pell Grants, etc.). - Liaison for student-athlete housing in conjunction
with the Compliance Office. - Liaison to CATS Life Skills, with a focus on Men's
Basketball Student-Athletes. - Coordinate, hire, and supervise the undergraduate
student-managers. - Coordinate Per Diem for all games & winter break.
- Work with the Compliance office on complimentary
admissions. - Coordinate team travel.
- Budget Accountability.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of NCAA, Big 12, and University of Arizona
rules and compliance. - Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends, and travel as needed.
- Experience with basketball video editing software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
- Dedication and motivation to initiate, lead and
support value-added projects. - Meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and has a positive
demeanor. - Demonstrated organizational skills, including the
ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projects. - Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive
interpersonal relations. - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with
individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience working with a college basketball program
as a full-time staff member or student-manager.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Master's Degree.
- Experience in Sports Code video editing software.
- Experience with team travel.
