KEMET, a YAGEO company, is currently seeking a Sales Representative in Boston, Massachusetts, to assist customers in finding solutions for electronic design problems. This work will result in "reference design" and "bill of material" approvals.

Key Responsibilities



  • Design YAGEO Parts into innovative designs
  • Work to influence reference designs
  • Develop relationships with assigned customers
  • Develop further opportunities by crossing all the YAGEO Group product portfolios
  • Build intra-company teamwork with your internal support team
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and customer events


Required Qualifications:



  • BS degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a designer or sales engineer
  • Magnetics design experience is a PLUS
  • Easy to talk to and build relationships
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects at once
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations utilizing Microsoft Office
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position (seated/standing) for extended periods

  • Travel - up to 50% travel within the New England area
