Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Performing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of multiple bank accounts and other financial records.
  • Identifying and investigating discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.
  • Resolving discrepancies by researching transactions and collaborating with internal departments like Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, and IT, or communicating with the bank.
  • Preparing detailed reconciliation reports and summarizing findings for management.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assisting in audits and providing supporting documentation.
  • Identifying and recommending process improvements to enhance the efficiency of reconciliation activities.
  • Special Projects: Leading or participating in special projects and initiatives focused on treasury activities, such as system implementations and enhancements.


Requirements & Qualifications:



  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Key skills include strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, proficiency in financial software, advanced Excel skills, effective communication, the ability to handle pressure, knowledge of financial regulations, and strong organizational skills
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel with advanced features like pivot tables and VLOOKUP), and reconciliation software is highly valued.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: The ability to analyze financial data, identify patterns and discrepancies, and resolve complex issues effectively is crucial.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy: Meticulousness and precision are paramount to ensure the integrity of financial records.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to interact with various stakeholders, including banks, internal departments, and auditors.
  • Organizational skills: The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain organized documentation is important.
