Financial Analyst, FP&A-Denver, CO

The Financial Analyst role is responsible for cost center management, financial and business analysis, and periodic reporting for business teams.

We are seeking a highly driven and analytical individual to join our team as a Financial Analyst. This role is integral in analyzing performance trends, comparisons to budget, and expense run rates to assess business risks or opportunities. Providing consistent budget updates and performance explanations to cost center and business owners. Updating business models to prepare routine business cases and developing reports by accessing information from various financial systems and company databases to build insights into business performance.

Role Responsibilities:



  • Develop and manage financial models, including budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans
  • Conduct variance analysis, analyze historical data, and identify trends
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions
  • Oversee the annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycles
  • Develop and manage capital expenditure budgets
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results


Role Requirements:



  • 1-3 years of finance or accounting experience and/or business analysis experience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent business partnering skills with focus on consulting and influencing mindset
  • Excellent business judgement and self-starter capabilities with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Salary
The on-target earnings range is $64,500 - $97,500 per year, which includes a base salary and variable incentive target that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
