SUMMARY
We are seeking a Technical Services Engineer to join our team supporting the Oil and Gas sector. The successful candidate will provide critical technical expertise and support in the manufacturing, testing, and completion of equipment and components used in oilfield operations. This role ensures that all manufacturing activities comply with client specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations, facilitating the successful delivery of high-quality products for oil and gas drilling, production, and completion projects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical guidance and support for manufacturing completions of oilfield equipment such as perforating guns, ancillary perforating hardware, energetics, as well as testing and documentation required to support our products.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, job orders, technical specifications, and industry codes (API, ISO, etc.) related to oil and gas equipment manufacturing.
- Collaborate closely with sales, production, quality assurance, and inspection teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot manufacturing defects or non-conformities; lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support the validation, testing, and certification of manufactured components in line with client and industry requirements.
- Assist in process optimization and implementation of best practices to improve manufacturing efficiency and product reliability.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and clarify project scope or specifications.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, including inspection reports, test records, and compliance certifications.
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies and promote a safety-first culture within manufacturing operations.
- Provide technical input during project planning, including risk assessments and resource allocation.
- Interact directly with major service companies in a sales capacity to maintain our relationships, facilitate and increase future sales.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing completions or technical services within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of oilfield equipment manufacturing processes and relevant standards such as API (American Petroleum Institute), ISO, and ASME.
- Experience with machining, assembly, and qualification testing of oil and gas completion equipment present in our portfolio.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Excellent English communication skills (written, oral, public speaking, technical presentation)
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Business Suite)
- Knowledge of oilfield/well completion practices (drilling, completion, hydraulic fracturing and production) and ability to communicate competently on this subject matter with peers in this field
- Proven ability to analyze technical problems and implement effective solutions in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and external clients.
