PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION Create connections, establish brand partnerships, orchestrate product placements/seeding within local communities through expert understanding and communication of trends in the city of Houston. Responsible for strategically managing Trend and Culture marketing activities. Ensure effective communication flow between all internal parties and external counterparts. Assure relevant brand activity with local partners and communities in coordination with marketing teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage network and partner relationships with local artists and people of influence in Houston - focusing on music as well as fashion and streetwear/lifestyle.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for product placement, events and marketing - brand communications, events, sales, product marketing, design, etc.
- Strategically contribute to global and local brand initiatives by defining Culture Marketing partners as well as managing relationships.
- Identify opportunities to connect artists and people of influence to the brand through content creation, activations, events, seeding, and product collaborations.
- Collect and communicate local trend and market updates to Culture Marketig head office and cross-functional teams.
- Assist Senior Director in managing external agencies and global/local Culture Marketing implementation.
- Oversee category-specific Brand Marketing objectives for Culture Marketing re Houston community.
- Drive and implement strategic category plans in conjunction with category and counterparts.
- Oversee all product ordering efforts for CM needs: includes forecasting, ordering for Culture Marketing partners, maintaining seeding product (monthly stock orders, quarterly promotional forecasting, seasonal specialty) across partner and category-specific product. Must maintain current product knowledge and clear target market objectives.
- Partner Servicing - place product orders for partner(s) requests, arrange travel for talent + team.
- Partner Strategy Execution - manage coordination and usage of appearance, production, PR services within contract term and obtain all necessary approvals for images, digital mechanics, and usage rights.
- Lead and execute culture marketing seeding strategy for partner collaboration where relevant.
- Assure invoices are processed in a timely manner per contract payment schedule.
- Establish and maintain relationships within the Culture Marketing industry. Attend internal brand or external industry events for networking, when relevant.
- Contribute to planning and execution of CM responsibilities within brand events, as well as CM specific events. This includes concept development, event planning, managing staff, CM outreach and event wrap up.

- Strong understanding of and passion for music/fashion/streetwear preferred.

- Unconventional business hours may be required. (evenings, weekends)
- Travel, domestic and international, as required by business needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BA in public relations, communications, marketing, or related field required.
- Minimum five (5) years marketing experience within a consumer goods company.
- Experience with integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience working in an international environment is an asset.
