Position Description Join TechSource the Advanced Sources and Detector (ASD) Project team to support the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of a ~20 MeV linear induction accelerator, known as Scorpius, used in subcritical experiments at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). Work closely with multi-lab teams and vendors on advanced electrical engineering for accelerator systems. Act as senior electrical engineer and team lead Provide daily technical guidance and mentorship to engineers Ensure adherence to design engineering procedures and best practices Lead high-level design reviews, testing, and system optimization Master's degreeideal in Engineering + 12 years experience, bachelors required Extensive experience with complex industrial electrical systems and AutoCAD Electrical Proven leadership and mentoring experience in technical teams Deep understanding of NEC, UL, and industrial safety standards Any ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q security clearance Preferred Qualifications for Both Levels Experience with linear induction accelerators Prior work at NNSA-designated laboratories Familiarity with high-radiation or high-voltage environments
