Job Description

Torch Technologies is excited to offer a rewarding internship opportunity for an Electrical Engineer Intern. This position is designed for a motivated and detail-oriented engineering student who is keen to apply their academic knowledge to real-world electrical engineering projects. The intern will work under the guidance of seasoned professionals in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the development of cutting-edge electrical systems and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Within your internship, you may



  • Assist in designing, building, and testing electrical systems and components.
  • Conduct simulations and analyses to evaluate electrical designs and concepts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project development and problem-solving.
  • Support the documentation of design processes and project findings.
  • Adhere to industry standards and best practices in electrical engineering.

Job Requirements

Qualifications



  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in electronics, circuit theory, and electromagnetics.
  • Familiarity with electrical engineering software tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB, AutoCAD).


Requirements



  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to learning and professional development.
  • US Citizen.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Actively enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited educational institution.
  • In good academic standing with a grade point average of 3.0.
  • Commitment to a full-time schedule during the internship period.
  • Must have an Active Security Clearance.
