POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Afognak Native Corporation has an opportunity for an Expense Administrator (EA) to work at our corporate office either in Huntsville, AL or Anchorage, AK. TheEA is responsible for issuing new corporate credit cards in the Wells Fargo system along with maintaining credit limits, assisting cardholders with declined transactions, disputed charges, and fraudulent charges. Will also be responsible for administration of Alutiiq, LLC's (a wholly owned subsidiary of Afognak Native Corp.) Concur Expense program including creating profiles, attaching corporate credit cards, updating charge codes, and assisting with training new employees on how to create expense reports and assist with resolving issues. The EA will also review expense reports and backup documentation, reporting any variances from corporate policy and/or government accounting (FAR/DFAR), Internal Revenue Services, and other regulatory agencies to manager.



  • Manage the expense tool (Concur). Includes creating new users, handling any change requests, maintaining the charge code list, audit expense reports, creating and running reports.
  • Maintain the Wells Fargo corporate card platform. Includes issuing new cards, assisting cardholders with transaction issues including declined, disputed, and fraudulent attempts, also adjusting credit limits in accordance with cardholder need and while maintaining policy parameters.
  • Assist in the initial training for the expense program as well as on-going training for current cardholders.
  • Assist users with Concur login or processing issues.
  • Review reports and backup documentation for adherence to policies, and flagging discrepancies or deficiencies for management follow up.
  • Preparing the monthly statement packets for archiving.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Payrate:$50,000 to $58,000 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience in accounting or finance.
  • Experience in Concur or similar expense reimbursement program.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and ability in adapting to organizational changes.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Listens effectively, transmits information accurately and understandably, and actively seeks feedback.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with planning, prioritizing, and organization skills.
