The Surveying & Geomatics team is seeking an Office Survey Technician in Oregon.

DEA desires to hire an experienced Office Survey Technician - MicroStation Open Roads Designer (ORD) to support our Portland, OR office. The ability to work remotely is negotiable. The Survey Technician will prepare various maps and right-of-way plans to meet client specifications under the supervision of the Survey Project Manager. Typical projects will have an emphasis on transportation and energy. The selected individual will be a good communicator and will be able to complete work on schedule and within budget.

• Provide MicroStation ORD drafting support to DEA Project Managers and Project Surveyors
• Prepare maps, right-of-way plans, and exhibits which meet client specifications
• Perform research, calculations, and support for survey and mapping projects
• Perform other drafting and office survey related duties as assigned

• Demonstrated drafting skills, related knowledge, and work experience
• Proficiency in MicroStation drafting software (i.e. CE or Open Roads Designer)
• AutoCAD Civil3D experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
