Position Summary: The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for leading data management and quantitative analyses in support of EnTrans's Supply Chain initiatives. The Analyst leads the construction of spend management databases and information warehousing for the key spend categories to which he/she is assigned. The Analyst must be fully informed of the Supply Chain process, develop and present insightful reports for the development of Supply Chain strategies, and provide data management and analytical support to cross-functional Supply Chain teams.

Essential Job Functions:



  • Collects and analyzes EnTrans's global spend data
  • Performs/leads the data management and analysis for assigned categories
  • Collects and analyzes industry and market research data to assist in the development of Supply Chain strategies
  • Acts as subject matter expert and administrator for EnTrans's cost reduction tracking system
  • Develops an expertise in EnTrans's Supply Chain process
  • Supports Supply Chain initiatives by:
  • Collecting detailed spend data, technical specifications, and drawings
  • Identifying potential new suppliers for targeted projects
  • Developing and issuing requests for quotation (RFQ)
  • Maintains reports and graphs to monitor the status of inventory turns
  • Leads the data management and analysis to support annual inflation forecasting


Specific Responsibilities:



  • Analyzing RFQ submissions
  • Leading data management for supplier negotiation preparation
  • Calculating and reporting cost savings
  • Managing the implementation of awarded supplier agreements
  • Acts as subject matter expert and administrator for EnTrans's supplier scorecard program
  • Tracks and charts major commodity price indices
  • Creates & supports ad hoc reporting as needed
  • Develops and communicates key raw material purchase forecasts to suppliers


Job Location:



  • Athens, TN


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Subject matter Expert with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Project management experience preferred

Language Skills:



  • The employee must possess the ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form.
  • Fluency in English is highly desired
