- Responsible for Operations Network Support - script development, device configuration management, system administration, hardware support, software support, maintenance, security, troubleshooting.
- Responsible for solution design, development, integration and enhancements to meet the business needs and project requirements.
- Also, responsible for documenting and developing operational procedures and provides end user support.
- Ensures monitoring network engineering performance and system availability and reliability
- Leads all configurations and installs of various network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
- Performs highly complex network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
- Monitors performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
- Initiates, facilitates and promotes activities to create information security awareness within the organization.
- Performs information security risk assessments and serves as an internal expert for information security related issues.
- Provide Level 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve highly complex issues
- Works within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to
- the network infrastructure
- Selects and implements security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team using wide latitude for ndependent judgement.
- Acts as the primary liaison with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Computer Systems or Management Information Systems.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in system management for network engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in networking protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in OSI or TCP/IP models
- Minimum 3 years of experience in monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Network Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud environments
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Cisco ACI or Cisco Nexus Data Center technologies
- Minimum 3 years of experience in key concepts in security management (vulnerability management, patch management, incident response)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Network Administrator in a field supporting critical systems and providing technical solutions.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting utility construction & maintenance.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Skill in assessing security controls based on cybersecurity principles and frameworks.
- Experience in supporting utility construction & maintenance.
- Professional level networking certification ( CCNP, CCDP, F5-CTS, VmWare VCP, Vmare VCAP).
- Demonstrating Initiative, Serving customers, Driving for Results, Evaluating and Implementing Ideas, Driving Continuous Improvement, Communicating Effectively.
