Job Title: IT Project Manager III

Location: Chicago, IL (will be remote with ability to potentially come on site a few times)
Job Summary:
The IT Project Manager will play a critical role in leading Phase II of the Digital Menus Program, ensuring seamless delivery of multiple customer-facing initiatives that directly impact the passenger experience. The role involves managing multiple cross-functional teams, driving alignment across enterprise workstreams, mitigating risks, and delivering executive-level updates while maintaining program timelines and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead program execution across four active workstreams: User Experience (UX), In-Flight Entertainment (IFE), Onboard Wi-Fi, and the Navigator platform within the Contact Center.
- Provide clear and concise communication, including executive-level updates, program dashboards, and status reporting.
- Manage multiple cross-functional teams and competing priorities across product, UX, engineering, and vendor groups.
- Identify risks early, build mitigation plans, and define clear escalation paths for timely resolution.
- Adapt to changing business requirements, ensuring quick pivots while maintaining team alignment and project objectives.
- Partner with stakeholders and suppliers to manage dependencies, negotiate deliverables, and resolve conflicts.
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, and Statement of Work (SOW) compliance, ensuring financial and contractual alignment.
- Ensure seamless integration into client's digital ecosystem and alignment with enterprise governance standards.
- Collaborate closely with UX, Product, and Business teams to deliver high-quality, customer-centric solutions.
- Drive problem-solving across teams to ensure on-time deployment across different customer-facing channels.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of program/project management experience within enterprise-scale digital or technology programs.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and executive presentations).
- Proven experience in risk management, mitigation planning, and escalation handling.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cross-functional teams and competing priorities.
- Strong adaptability and problem-solving mindset.
- Stakeholder, supplier, and vendor management experience required.
- Nice-to-have skills/certifications: PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification; budget forecasting and SOW oversight; negotiation and conflict resolution; technical fluency in integrations and dependencies.
