Responsible for designing, analyzing, evaluating, and implementing compensation programs, including salary administration, incentive systems, and international compensation. Interpret reliable trends to project future developments, strategies, and company culture. Collaborate with management and staff to offer professional advice on compensation matters and ensures compliance with wage and hour laws and regulations. Participates in designing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs and structures that deploy people resources optimally. May influence others within the job area through coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and complex. Provides resolutions to a broad rage of complex problems accomplished without considerable direction
Compensation Advisor

Essential Functions

  • Design, analyze, evaluate, and implement compensation programs, including salary administration, incentive systems, and international compensation.
  • Interpret reliable trends, identify emerging opportunities, develop strategies, and create innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to offer professional advice on compensation matters to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and ensures compliance with wage and hour laws and regulations.
  • Participates in designing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs and structures that deploy people resources optimally to develop forward looking focus
  • Lead large cross opco projects from inception to completion
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required;

Minimum Experience

Six (6) years experience required in human resources or related area with at least three (3) of those years working as a compensation professional or an equivalent analytical role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficiency in various computer applications including electronic spreadsheets required.
Advanced analytical, problem solving, statistical, human relations skills to work on issues of diverse scope.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to facilitate training or information sessions to groups/individuals and/or explain complex or confidential information with the ability to interact with all levels of management and employees .
Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
Ability to mentor, coach and act as a knowledge resource to other employees.
Strong knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations regarding wage and hour.
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion at all times
Must be detailed driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to summarize complex data and see the broader picture
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and handle complex issues
Excellent consulting skills - ability to influence and negotiate with all levels of management and employees

Compensation Strategic Advisor

Essential Functions

  • Lead, direct and provide guidance to compensation and project teams
  • Create, design and develop compensation programs and special projects
  • Consult with business partners to provide solutions and recommendations to support the organization's vision
  • Assess effectiveness of compensation program and process guidance
  • Identify and conduct research, data analysis and reviews related to compensation programs (base and variable salary comparisons,
  • locations/geographic cost on labor analyses, etc.).
  • Lead compensation projects, maintaining and ensuring accountability to schedules, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, finance, human resources, or related area.

Minimum Experience
Six (6) years' experience in human resources, compensation/benefits or related areas, with progressive program, process and/or project
ownership over those years.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience with financial analysis and reporting associated with broad programs or large-scale planning processes.
Advanced analytical and administration skills.
Advanced computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Strong organization, planning, and communication skills.
Ability to influence and negotiate with all levels of management and employees.

Preferred Qualifications: Seasoned compensation professional, tech skills - experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc. Preferred compensation background, advanced analytics recommendations development, ability to analyze complex data sets, determine insights and impacts, and develop sound recommendations for strategic programs and initiatives.

Pay: US Pay Transparency Range: $6,168.90/month - $15,607.31/month

Additional Details: This position may be located anywhere within the US excluding AK, HI and US territories. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx Campus several times per week.
