Peacemaker National Training Center is seeking a Retail Shop Manager to continue delivering high quality customer service and support to our membership and public guests. The Retail Shop Manager at Peacemaker National Training Center responsibilities center on facilitating the seamless execution of Peacemaker's commercial business, including memberships, trainings, competitions, and retail sales.

Serve as the primary point of contact for Peacemaker members and guests

Check in members and guests upon arrival to the Peacemaker facility

Identify what ranges are "live" on a given day and provide directions, as needed

Provide great customer service to all members and guests at the facility

Oversee the operations of the Peacemaker National Training Center retail shop

Conduct firearm and ammunition sales, following all mandatory procedures (e.g., 4473s, NICS checks)

Lead Inventory Management efforts (e.g., track inventory, log daily sales, balance cash register)

Work with corporate accounting team to resolve any data inconsistencies

Assist the Peacemaker's Manager of Operations with coordinating on-site activities

Help coordinate Facilities/Maintenance/Range Safety Officer schedules

Assist in tracking employee hours associated with events and competitions

  Required Skills/Abilities:
  
• Excellent organizational skills to coordinate schedules, accurately log transactions
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure proper tracking of inventory
• Strong customer service to provide members and guests with optimal experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel and Outlook)
• 
  Education and Experience:
  
• GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Retail experience required
• Experience with firearms and firearm transactions, preferred
• 
  Physical Requirements:
  
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
