Overview

The Assistant Right of Way Supervisor will assist the Right of Way Supervisor in providing project oversight, and continuous training and evaluation of a team of right of way agents working on easement acquisitions in support of electric utility-related projects.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate team meetings and group efforts to achieve critical project objectives
  • Provide direction and management to the ROW Agent Team including continuous oversight and training in office and in the field.
  • Oversee internal team communication and collaboration supporting the team to resolve challenges and problem solve both internally and with customers in the field
  • Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • The candidate must have the ability to think and work strategically, keep informed about project activities through communication, data evaluation, and participation in project meetings, manage and work well in a team environment, have excellent task management skills, a proven ability to communicate professionally, have a flexible schedule, create and manage a high-quality experience for the client, and have ability to work some evenings and/or weekends, as needed.
  • Prior Right of Way acquisition experience required, preferably in a consulting firm
  • Ability to interpret title reports, land surveys, and technical drawings required
  • Knowledge of general real estate law
  • Knowledge of real estate title work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with clients, co-workers, and other professionals
  • This position will require the individual to regularly travel within the State of Virginia to meet with clients and customers in the field, sometimes outdoors traversing different types of landscapes

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
