Underwriting Project Manager

We are seeking an Underwriting Project Manager to support our team in the Indianapolis office. All Taft employees operate under a "Client First" philosophy-in all things, we seek to provide exceptional services to our clients. This is an entry-level position.

Essential Duties:

• Manage a high-volume stream of deal work, including coordinating teams and tracking progress of simultaneously ongoing deals.
• Support tasks include front-facing deal management activities and back-end data management.
• Facilitate work flow improvement campaigns, including integration of new technologies into current work processes.
• Provide business development support for the transactional risk practice.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (e.g., OneNote, Teams, Word, Excel)
• Familiarity with work flow automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate) and generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) are desirable, but not required.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment requiring frequent peer communication.
• Hybrid office/remote work arrangement.
• Work hours vary based on deal flow. Some nights and weekend time should be expected, offset by time off during weekday hours.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (strong grades are required for candidates with little work experience).
