Your Impact:

Cisco IT is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our IT development organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, integrate, test, and deploy highly scalable and robust software solutions that will shape the future of Cisco's IT landscape.

As a Software Engineer at Cisco, you will:

  • Design and develop software for private and public cloud platforms, integrating automation and monitoring tools
  • Collaborate with software development teams in an Agile DevOps environment
  • Contribute to a highly agile development culture, focused on continuous improvement and innovation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Java, and PL/SQL
  • Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MongoDB, Oracle, or similar database technologies
  • Knowledge of data structures, Kafka, and the ELK stack
  • Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
