Job Title: Senior Manager, Proposal and Growth Operations

Job Summary: LCG is seeking a Senior Manager, Proposal and Growth Operations who will play a pivotal role in driving growth by translating LCG's strategic business development plans into actionable results. This role bridges the gap between strategy and execution, partnering with leadership, portfolio teams, and external consultants to prioritize initiatives, manage growth workstreams, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Leveraging Agile methodologies, the Senior Manager, Proposal and Growth Operations oversees proposal management, pipeline tracking, opportunity monitoring, and management of LCG's Knowledge Center. This position requires a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and execute on multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven federal contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth Plan Execution



  • Translate LCG's business development strategy into an actionable execution roadmap.
  • Organize initiatives into sprints, track progress, manage roadblocks, and facilitate regular stand-ups or check-ins.
  • Adjust plans based on shifting priorities, market opportunities, and leadership feedback.


Proposal Management and Capture Support



  • Lead the full proposal lifecycle for new business opportunities and recompetes, including kickoff, scheduling, compliance checks, content development, reviews, and submission.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Owners (POs), Technical Portfolio Owners (TPOs), and delivery teams to integrate past performance, technical enhancements, and customer feedback into proposals.
  • Maintain templates, resumes, boilerplate sections, and past performance summaries to ensure consistency and quality.


CRM Ownership & Pipeline Tracking



  • Act as the CRM system owner, ensuring accurate data, reporting, and user adoption.
  • Produce regular reports to inform leadership of pipeline health and coordinate with Finance for budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.


Opportunity Monitoring and Knowledge Management



  • Maintain LCG's Knowledge Center with organized, up-to-date content, including past performance libraries, proposal materials, and marketing assets.
  • Monitor federal portals to identify new leads and facilitate early bid/no-bid decisions.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in proposal operations, capture support, or business development within federal contracting.
  • Demonstrated success executing strategic BD plans and managing both new business proposals and recompetes.
  • Agile certification required (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency with CRM/pipeline tools.
  • Expertise with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with federal opportunity systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.



Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
