POSITION SUMMARY: This Financial Analyst position plays a critical role in implementing financial controls over fixed assets and capital spending for Nestle. The position gathers and interprets financial information effectively and transforms data into meaningful and concise analyses while considering a broad range of interdependent issues. It supports Divisional and Corporate management by providing timely, accurate and relevant financial information to guide management in decision making. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES: * Enforce the Fixed Assets policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with Nestle Accounting Standards (NAS) * Control and maintain the Fixed Assets sub-ledger; perform monthly reviews of all capitalization done by the plants and/or field locations, and ensure depreciation years and assets class are in compliance with (NAS) * Record Fixed Assets transactions such as capitalization, transfers, retirements, impairments, and others * Participate in the Fixed Asset physical inventory process in accordance with NAS; ensure that the fixed assets inventories are performed, reconciled, and are properly recorded * Provide support to field users related to SAP Project Systems and Fixed Assets sub-ledger * Perform Period End Close responsibilities, Month End Reporting, Plant and Divisional Fixed Assets support and Audit support * Prepare quarterly reports on all Fixed Assets activities * Perform Ad Hoc analyses for divisional and corporate stakeholders, as needed * Identify process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations for improvement * All other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: * Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or Finance * Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field required * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required; Excel skills must be at least at an intermediate level * 10 - 15% travel required, including some Sunday travel * Experience in fixed assets accounting preferred * Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience preferred SKILLS: * Detail-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal communication * Ability to work independently as well as in teams across multiple levels of the organization * Problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset * Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment * Ability to effectively lead cross-functional projects with limited supervision #LI-Hybrid#LI-MR1 It is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.
