As a Security Guard - Education Alarm Monitor in Radnor, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a prominent education-focused location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, greeting and assisting visitors, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize your strong communication and customer service skills to address inquiries and support the needs of staff, students, and guests. Pay Rate: $18.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, students, staff, and/or faculty members at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence and responding to inquiries as needed.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and managing visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific protocols to help to deter unauthorized access or activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with all individuals at the location, providing customer service and support as required.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following established procedures and instructions from site leadership or Allied Universal management.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to company and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
