Additional Locations Job Description Summary Job Description The Manager, Gross to Net serves as a subject matter expert responsible for gross-to-net analyses, including accrual rate analysis, rate set-up, Advanced Pricing maintenance, account analysis, reconciliations, look-back reviews, and financial close activities. This role supports external, SOX, and internal audits, performs ad-hoc accounting tasks, and partners with Business Finance to meet financial analysis needs. All responsibilities must be executed accurately and in compliance with GAAP and external reporting requirements Essential Functions
- Significant involvement in the gross-to-net financial close process.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Contracts/Pricing, Chargeback, Rebate, and FP&A, to gather data, analyze information, and determine proper accounting treatment
- Support the development of revenue accounting policies and ensure compliance with established procedures
- Support the improvement of internal controls (SOX) and efforts to ensure timeliness and accuracy in the reporting of the company's financial position.
- Thorough analysis of prompt pay, chargebacks, rebates/fees, Medicaid, expired product returns, reserve analysis and accrual calculations.
- Assist with the documentation of gross-to-net accounting methodologies.
- Serve as a business focal point for revenue accounting project work related to the use of Cognos or Business Objects for analysis.
Minimum Requirements: Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred
- CPA preferred
Experience:
- 3+ years of general accounting experience required
- 5+ years of experience with gross-to-net accounting, financial reporting, and sales reporting is preferred.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
Skills/Qualifications
- Solid understanding of process/workflow definition, data analysis capabilities, metric/measurement tracking and system/automation capabilities.
- Experience with systems such as JD Edwards, Model N, Hyperion, Cognos, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Experience in testing systems.
- Adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
- Ability to drive and implement process improvements
- Demonstrate self-motivation with problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Apply strong analytical and organizational skills
