Division of Allergy, Immunology, Bone Marrow Transplantation

Department of Pediatrics

Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, and In Residence Faculty Series

The Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals is recruiting for faculty positions at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks in the Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, or In Residence faculty series, with a focus on Bone Marrow Transplant. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.

Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center and established fellowship training program. This position may have clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses and would actively contribute to the Department's mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care.

Minimum Qualifications



  • Medical degree and license
  • Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics
  • Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and/or Allergy and Immunology


Preferred Qualifications



  • Proven abilities in collaborative teamwork
  • A strong interest in pursuing a career in academic pediatrics
  • Experience in supervising residents and medical students in clinical settings


For positions that are 51% effort or more:

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $114,100-$344,400. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

For positions that are 50% effort or less:

See Table 2 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $81,500-$246,000.
