Cyber Mission Specialist

The Opportunity:
As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can use your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. We're looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your experience with network endpoint security tools, cyber threat info, developing operations plans, cyber threat signatures, offensive cyber practices and impact our nation's defense.

In this role, you'll be counted on to help understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will work with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to nation's security.

This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership and commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for the mission area. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control.

You Have:

• Experience with providing cybersecurity, engineering, or operational support, including supporting information assurance, network engineering, or systems administration
• Experience with evaluating the compliance of a system against current RMF and DoD cybersecurity policies
• Experience with DoD A&A processes and cybersecurity engineering
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and the implementation of industry best practices
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• 8570 Certification, including CompTIA Security+, Pentest+, or GPEN

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in working with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
• Experience with enterprise networks, Active Directory, Linux or Windows
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possession of excellent time management and analytical skills
• OSCP+ Certification

Clearance:
