Summary of Primary Functions: Establish, maintain, and grow customer accounts to generate business. Ensures customer requirements and business plan performance objectives are met from project inception through closeout of the project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals and industry experts to exceed sales targets.
- Develop and execute growth strategies that expand market share and strengthen Tindall's competitive position.
- Build strong relationships with developers, contractors, engineers, and architects, influencing project opportunities from concept through completion.
- Partner with estimating, engineering, and project management teams to deliver accurate proposals and seamless project execution.
- Drive business development through proactive networking, industry events, and client engagement.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the precast sector.
- Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting to leadership.
- Represent Tindall's brand, values, and commitment to innovation and quality across the industry.
- Job Specifications or Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 7+ years of proven sales experience in the construction or precast concrete industry, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Track record of managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project delivery methods, and design-build strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and project opportunities.
Education: College Degree (4-year) or equivalent experience and training is required. Experience: 5 to 7 (+) years prior, related experience with precast/BDS industry is preferred.
