*Job Title: Fully Remote Auto Mechanic - Call Center Support*
*Location:* Remote (U.S.-based) *Position Type:* Full-Time *Overview:* We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Remote Auto Mechanic to join our growing team. In this inbound call center role, you will leverage your technical expertise to assess repair requests from automotive shops and authorize services in alignment with client policies. This is a unique opportunity to apply hands-on mechanical knowledge in a remote setting while supporting a fast-paced, service-driven environment. *Training Schedule:* Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET *Shift Flexibility Required:* Five-day shifts, either Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday Available shift times (ET): * 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM * 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM * 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM * 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM * 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM *Key Responsibilities:* * Review and evaluate repair requests from automotive shops for policy compliance * Respond to inbound calls from drivers and suppliers regarding service inquiries * Provide guidance and support to clients and drivers on repair procedures * Create and manage electronic repair invoices * Negotiate pricing with suppliers when appropriate * Authorize valid repairs to control client maintenance costs and minimize vehicle downtime * Make outbound calls to initiate or follow up on service requests and resolve outstanding issues *Required Skills:* * Automotive maintenance and diagnostics * Customer service and call center communication * Strong computer proficiency and data entry accuracy * Negotiation and decision-making capabilities *Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent * 3-5 years of hands-on automotive mechanical experience * Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively * Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed * Collaborative mindset with a focus on client satisfaction *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $18.00/hr. *Workplace Type* This is a fully remote position. h4>About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
