Mission Contribution: The Azure Web Developer I plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our organization's web applications and SharePoint sites. The developer collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into innovative and user-friendly digital solutions. Summary: The Azure Web Developer I is responsible for providing architecture, planning, design, implementation, operational support, and governance of web applications and program interfaces. In addition to providing oversight and administration of the company's SharePoint environment. The Web Developer will work closely with the IT Team to implement and maintain third party web applications as well as develop internal applications using Microsoft Azure technologies. This position will work closely with the IT Team to design and develop code in accordance with industry best practices. - Analyze business and technical requirements to design robust and scalable solution architectures.
- Develop and maintain application components, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
- Write well-documented code and support all testing phases by diagnosing and resolving defects efficiently.
- Create and maintain interfaces to integrate software systems used by the company.
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues, collaborating with the IT team to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance on custom-built applications and websites, ensuring timely application of security patches.
- Evaluate new technologies and software products to assess their feasibility and potential value to the organization.
- Identify and communicate technical and operational risks to the IT team, providing potential solutions for review.
- Ensure all developed applications and updates comply with organizational and security policies, including implementing necessary patches to protect systems.
- Develop training documentation and facilitate training sessions for team members and end users to ensure optimal use of solutions.
- Collaborate closely with team members to understand project requirements and specifications, fostering teamwork and alignment across the organization.

- Attend training sessions, meetings, and company-related events as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Knowledge or experience with Visual Studio, ASP.NET, HTML, web design, JavaScript, or other coding technologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with SSL and TLS for secure web environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL Server management, MySQL, and strong querying skills is a plus.
- General understanding of Entra ID and Azure Microsoft 365 environments is a plus.
- Proficient technical skills with a strong understanding of operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing exceptional service and support.
- Effective organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks or support requests simultaneously.
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- IT certifications such as Certified Full Stack Web Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems for effective troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Must be able to successfully complete any assigned Goodwill training within the required period of time upon employment.

- Personal vehicle usage is required for this position, including a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and the ability to provide proof of insurance for driving on company business.
- An acceptable motor vehicle record, based on Goodwill guidelines, is required for driving a personal or company vehicle.
- Must provide a cell phone for specified work responsibilities, including the use of a phone-based application for authentication.
- A high-speed, reliable broadband internet connection is required for job functions.
- Must successfully complete a state background investigation and drug screen.
