Overview

TRC is seeking a full-time PCA Assessor within our Property Condition Assessment (PCA) team to complete property and facility assessments as assigned by TRC's National Program Manager (NPM).


Responsibilities

* Field Surveys of various property types
* Extensive travel within the US & Canada
* Communication with client and subject site representatives
* Data compilation and organization
* Report preparation and completion
* Preparation of quality supporting documents (site figures, appendices, etc.)
* Project tracking and coordination
* Other tasks that may be assigned by the NPM, associated with report deliverable


Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills (internal and external)
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
    • Non-Degreed candidates would require 5-10 years of experience with building inspections and/or property condition assessments.
  • Experience in construction, building science, or real property evaluations
  • Ability to climb vertical ladders and access building roofs with proper safety gear
  • Ability to work on several projects concurrently
  • Exceptional typing and writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, WORD, EXCEL
  • Ability to learn and master specialty software (PARCEL Platform)
  • Ability to estimate costs based on quantities and unit rates
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and motor vehicle records check.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
  • Ability to travel frequently and over extended distances
  • Ability to climb vertical ladders and access building roofs
  • Ability to navigate tight spaces in low light conditions

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $55,016.00 - USD $81,598.00 /Yr.
