Position Title: Diesel Mechanic
Wage: $23/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-4pm QPS Employment Group is hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic for a company in Ferrelview, MO. The Diesel Mechanic will be maintaining and repairing the fleet of diesel-powered trucks and equipment. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical systems - Perform routine maintenance on trucks, trailers, generators, and other diesel-powered equipment - Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with DOT and company standards - Maintain accurate service records and documentation - Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical problems and determine solutions - Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Diesel Mechanic Requirements: - 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience - Valid driver's license (CDL preferred or ability to obtain) - Working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems - Own mechanic tools - Strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to quality and safety QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
