Position Title: Assembly
Wage: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Thursday) Work hard, have fun, and enjoy a 3-day weekend! This fast-paced assembly team in Cedar Rapids, IA is energetic, hands-on, and team-oriented. In this role, you'll take on a variety of tasks-from repetitive to more complex assembly work-building high-quality electronic and mechanical cable assemblies and electrical sub-assemblies. With a Monday-Thursday schedule (6:00am - 4:30pm), you'll stay busy, build quality products, and still have plenty of time to enjoy life outside of work. Apply now! Assembly Responsibilities: - Assemble cable components by following written instructions, drawings, and wiring diagrams - Use manual and semi-automatic crimping tools to terminate wires and cables - Operate hand and power tools throughout the assembly process - Meet quality and productivity standards while maintaining a clean, organized workspace= - Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment Requirements for Assembly: - Strong communication skills - Able to read and interpret instructions, diagrams, and measurements (down to 1/8 of an inch) - Great manual dexterity and attention to detail - Able to lift up to 30lbs as needed - Previous manufacturing or assembly experience cedarrapids@qpsemployment.com IND091 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
