Global Partners LP is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Manager - Enterprise to lead enterprise-wide data initiatives with a focus on Finance and Accounting, IT, HR, Legal, and other shared service functions. This leadership role is responsible for building a scalable BI function that connects operational data, technology and strategic decision-making.

As a hands-on leader and trusted partner, you'll bridge the gap between business units and centralized data infrastructure-developing impactful dashboards, automating financial and operational reporting, and fostering data literacy across the enterprise. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely, accurate, and actionable insights are embedded in how we operate and plan.

This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, EPM, HCM), strong command of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI), and experience translating ambiguous requirements into meaningful data solutions. You'll lead and mentor a team while also rolling up your sleeves to deliver critical data products and automation.

"Gauges" of Responsibility

  • Lead the enterprise BI function for Finance & Accounting, and extend support to IT, HR, Legal, and other shared services
  • Serve as the primary BI partner for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, and Strategic Finance teams
  • Own the BI roadmap for enterprise functions, aligning initiatives to business priorities, stakeholder needs, and executive reporting cycles
  • Act as a player-coach: lead a small team of analysts while delivering high-impact solutions directly
  • Design, develop, and manage dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting pipelines using SQL and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Translate business needs into data models and reporting logic, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and business relevance
  • Automate manual reporting processes to drive efficiency and reduce operational overhead for Finance and Accounting
  • Develop frameworks for standardizing enterprise KPIs across systems (ERP, HCM, Legal systems, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Financial Systems, DAI (Data, Analytics & Insights), IT, and HRIS teams to align on data governance, system integrations, and metadata management
  • Work closely with the DAI to align BI strategies with broader data initiatives, such as Single Source of Truth (SSOT) and data product standardization
  • Support ad hoc analyses and executive requests, including board and investor reporting, M&A data needs, and regulatory reports
  • Champion data quality, standard definitions, and governance practices across the enterprise
  • Drive adoption of self-service BI platforms and increase data literacy across stakeholder groups
  • Build reusable templates, reporting standards, and BI best practices that scale across functions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or FP&A technology roles within mid-to-large enterprises
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience leading business intelligence teams, managing cross-functional analytics initiatives, or mentoring analytical staff in a player-coach capacity
  • Proven expertise in SQL for building complex queries, transforming large datasets, and supporting enterprise-level reporting needs
  • Demonstrated proficiency in business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, including dashboard development, performance optimization, and user enablement
  • Experience translating strategic business objectives-particularly within Finance and Accounting-into scalable, automated BI solutions
  • Working knowledge of enterprise systems, including ERP (e.g., Oracle, SAP), EPM (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights), and HCM (e.g., Workday) platforms
  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills, with a demonstrated ability to present analytical findings to executive and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with data transformation and modeling tools such as dbt, sqlmesh, AWS Glue, etc.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouse platforms including Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as Python or R for analytics automation, scenario modeling, or data quality monitoring
  • Understanding of data governance practices, reporting standards, and BI lifecycle management within an enterprise environment
  • Commitment to data accuracy, reporting consistency, and continuous improvement in analytics delivery
  • Experience applying statistical analysis, forecasting methods, or basic predictive modeling to support business planning
  • Industry experience in retail, convenience stores, or other operations-intensive sectors
  • Experience working within a federated analytics model or Center of Excellence structure
  • Strong business acumen in Finance and enterprise functions Exceptional data storytelling and stakeholder communication skills
