Staffmark Drivers is seeking new talent in Laurel Hill, NC, and hiring an experienced Non-CDL Yard Driver to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire role with consistent full-time hours, overtime opportunities, and the chance to get hired on permanently.

Pay: $22.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 1st Shift 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM | 2nd Shift 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM | Must be available to work Saturdays during peak season

Job Details:



  • Local yard driver role - home every day
  • Yard spotting of 53' trailers on-site
  • Equipment: Non-CDL yard switcher
  • Forklift experience preferred, but not required (not a forklift role currently)
  • Must complete Ryder approval process prior to starting



Job Duties:



  • Safely move and spot 53' trailers around the yard
  • Perform vehicle safety inspections before, during, and after dispatch
  • Report any equipment or maintenance issues promptly
  • Follow all safety and company policies



Required Qualifications:



  • At least 1 year of verifiable yard driver/switcher experience within the last 3 years
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • Acceptable MVR, clear FMCSA Clearinghouse report, and ability to pass pre-employment screenings
  • No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within 3 years
