Job Overview: The Deputy Long-Term Care Ombudsman plays a crucial role in advocating for the rights and well-being of residents in long-term care facilities, such as nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This senior-level position involves a combination of advocacy, oversight, and program management to ensure that residents receive the highest quality of care and that their rights are protected. This position involves providing oversight and direction to ensure all program, operational, and technical responsibilities are carried out in compliance with policies, procedures, rules, statutes, and best practices. The role includes conducting services, monitoring visits, and desk evaluations to maintain high standards and ensure program effectiveness. The ideal candidate will provide knowledgeable and timely responses to residents and district ombudsmen, demonstrating strong relational and management skills. They will handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism, ensuring all inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. Key Responsibilities:
