We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist who is proactive and solutions-driven, with a consultative approach to supporting employees and managers. This role will be key in building the workforce for our new manufacturing facility, with a strong focus on recruitment, employee relations, safety, and training. To be successful, you must bring a strong mix of HR knowledge, practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, and the ability to act with urgency while maintaining attention to detail. Just as important, you'll model and promote our Core Values to foster a safe, collaborative, and engaged workplace. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the organization, reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources.

DUTIES

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and support roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job needs and ensure timely staffing.
  • Coordinate and deliver employee onboarding and training programs.
  • Serve as primary contact for employee relations issues, supporting conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Support workplace safety initiatives, OSHA compliance, and incident investigations.
  • Track and maintain employee training, certifications, and safety records.
  • Assist with policy administration, compliance requirements, and HR documentation.
  • Provide HR support for payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Management or related field.
  • 5+ years human resources generalist experience. Experience should include recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, training and development, preferably in best practice HR environments.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification & international affairs experience preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
  • Strong customer service skills and consultative skills especially in assessing department needs, making customer-focused decisions, developing relationships and delivering solutions.
  • Excellent emotional intelligence, presentation, interpersonal, training facilitation, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technology proficient, including MS Suite & ADP WorkforceNow.
  • Must be a self-starter, an outside-of-the-box thinker, have a high sense of urgency, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to regularly walk the production floor, including standing and moving between work areas.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods when performing administrative work.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this full-time position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year plus benefits. Salary ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

BUSINESS TRAVEL

This position requires very limited business travel. Occasional visits may be necessary to the company's Anaheim, CA facility or Tecate, Mexico facility for team coordination, training, audits, or operational support.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT
