POSITION OVERVIEW The Green Bay site Process Safety Management Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a management system that results in satisfaction of the 14 elements of OSHA's Process Safety Management (PSM), EPA's Risk Management Plans (RMP), and HSE program for the ammonia system at the Green Bay site. Acts as a coach and advisor to the site, providing support and technical assistance in the administration of and compliance with federal, state, local, and company S&E requirements. Leads improvements to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) processes, PSM/RMP program, and sustainability initiatives. This position could require travel of approximately 10%. - Develops and oversees the implementation of the PSM/RMP program, including the Employee Participation, Process Safety Information, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Operating Procedures, Training, Contractors, Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR), Mechanical Integrity, Hot Work, Management of Change (MOC), Incident Analysis (Investigation), Emergency Planning and Response and Compliance Audits programs.
- Serves as the site technical advisor and lead resource for PSM/RMP compliance. Assists site HSE Leader with HSE compliance for other selected S&E programs.
- Owns program to provide and document technician training and development.
- Plans and leads weekly PSM and HSE committee meetings with utilities, production and maintenance staff.
- Actively participates in change management such as relocation, modification, and decommissioning of any affected facility, equipment or process.
- Audits PSM and HSE programs, communicate audit results to plant Leadership Team, and follows up on determined plan of action.
- Implements, maintains, and assesses selected HSE standards and procedures in accordance with company S&E requirements.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable PSM/RMP and HSE regulations and permits.
- Completes and submits all required PSM/RMP and HSE reports for the facility.
- Assists in managing the PSM/RMP and HSE operations budget.
- Leads ongoing site improvements as related to PSM/RMP and HSE compliance.
- Ensures the impact of regulatory changes on the businesses are being managed.
- Leads initiatives to support Corporate sustainability goals.
- Identifies and evaluates environmental and safety risk arising from new chemicals, products, and manufacturing changes.
- Provides support to the site to address regulatory inspections and complaints.
- Provides assistance in the analysis of significant incidents (fire, chemical releases, fatalities, severe or multiple injuries, etc.) and follow-up on corrective actions ensuring information is shared throughout the Company to prevent re-occurrence.
- Reports company-required environmental and sustainability metrics at required frequencies in GSTEMS.
- Maintains knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations.
- Drives SIF/SEI prevention through integration of Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles at the facility.
- Engages in conversations to learn how work is done to improve controls for critical HSE risks.
- Actively participate in change or project management to identify and address critical risk at the facility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant degree field
- 5+ years of site-level leadership and program management experience
- Knowledge of process safety/risk management and associated technical HSE standards
- Solid interpersonal, coaching, influencing, and project management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills; proficient in English
- Proficient in computer software applications
- Working knowledge of local regulations and the ability to interpret technical documents
- Experience in food and beverage manufacturing or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degrees in Engineering
- P.E., CHMM, QEP or other relevant certifications
- Food manufacturing experience
- Ammonia certifications

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $81000.00 - $121700.00 / Annually.
