Overview

TRC seeks aProject Managerwho is an innovativeleader toserve in a dual role aslead forSmall Businessand program support for Lighting and Implementation for theExisting Buildings program.This role leads theprogram's design, development,and clientmanagementforthe program'ssmall businessstrategy.Additionally, this rolesupports the commercial downstream lighting program. This role also supports the Implementation Manager with operations, measure development, and the program development team.

This position includes workingwith internal team members, partners,subcontractors,and clients to ensure smooth development and delivery,continuous enhancements, goal-setting, and overall success in serving small businesses. In addition, this person reports to and works closely with the Program Implementation Managertooperationalizeand improveprogram offerings.

Thisperson will be an experienced client relationship manager with proven success in an energy efficiency program.Experiencewith lighting technologies is very desirable.Theideal candidate will have experience designing tracking systems, managingbudgets, and acting as the point person with consulting clients. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be assertive, personable, and a self-starter, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and data, working under the guidance of the program management team.This positionrequires the ability to communicate effectively and coordinate with internal technical team members, outreach members, and external customers.


Responsibilities

KeyResponsibilitiesInclude:

  • Act as the main point of contact to the client, responding to requests and communicating programmatic changes, issues, and developmentsfor the Small Business offering
  • Act as the main point of contact for the internal team regardingSmallBusiness
  • Leadthe design, development, and implementation of the program's small business strategy.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors, work with contractors, property owners/managers, community-basedorganizations,and other stakeholders
  • Responsiblefor developing and executing strategic program implementation plans for small business plan
  • Workindependently and in teams, across channels,sectors,and departments, to implement the programs to meet theobjectivesand goalsidentifiedscope of work
  • Oversee the plans from implementation to completion; ensure critical milestones are met, develop processes and procedures, and conduct assessments throughout the implementation stage, andmodifythe process as needed
  • Support Implementation Manager and contributeheavily to program design & development with a focus on enhancing customer experience, implementing continuous process improvements, and minimizing evaluation risk
  • SupportSmallBusinessmeasure development process by collecting stakeholder input, researching customer impact, proposing program design,andutilizingdata to respondto respond to variousrequests, both internal and from the client
  • Coordinatewith program team members in other program functional areas
  • Attend and represent the program at strategy and development meetings with the client, PDC, other PMCs, and subcontractors
  • Support standard and ad-hoc internal and external reporting requests thatdemonstrateprogram progress and inform futureSmall Business Strategy
  • Manage,develop,and refine existing tracking systems for goals, budget management, and forecasting

Qualifications

DesiredSkillsandExperience:

  • Atleast3-5years of relevant experience isrequired
  • Directclient interface experience isrequired
  • Interpersonal skills:
  • Excellent clientmanagement skills
  • Self-driven and a team player with established critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork skills that include highly effective communication in-person, over email, and over the phone
  • Organizational skills:
  • Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously withdemonstratedattention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to monitorand manage project progress
  • Ability to coordinate, schedule, and conduct team meetings professionally
  • Technical competency:
  • Basic knowledge of energy efficiency, related technology, and building science principles isrequired
  • Strong computerproficiency ensures that day-to-day work and meeting attendance can be performed successfully. Experience using MS Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to conduct independent computer-based research are required

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
