Senior Umbraco Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Contractor to lead the migration of ARS websites to the Drupal Content Management System (CMS). This role will be responsible for the full lifecycle of design, development, testing, integration, and deployment, while also ensuring enhancements, documentation, and knowledge transfer are effectively delivered.

Duties/ Responsibilities

    Migrate existing ARS websites from Umbraco to Drupal CMS.

    Perform design, development, testing, integration, and deployment to both staging and production environments.

    
    
  • 
    

    Collaborate with website subject matter experts and customers to gather requirements and analyze solutions.

  Enhancements & Support:

  
  
  
  
  • 
    

    Implement ARS website enhancements as requested and documented by the Customer and Web Team.

    
    
  • 
    

    Provide ongoing support to ensure functionality and user experience meet organizational needs.

  Project Communication & Reporting:

  
  
  
  
  • 
    

    Participate in team meetings and requirements-gathering sessions.

    
    
  • 
    

    Submit weekly status reports outlining progress, risks, and next steps.

  Knowledge Transfer & Documentation:

  
  
  
  
  • 
    

    Provide knowledge transfer to Information Technology specialists.

    
    
  • 
    

    Develop and maintain technical documentation, including System Design Architecture documents and diagrams.

    
    
  
  
  
  

Required Skills/Abilities

• Working experience using C#, ASP.NET, CSHTML, Java Script, and CSS
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (including SSIS) and Windows Server
• Experience integrating new systems and functions incorporating security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Familiarity with source control system (i.e., Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years Umbraco CMS, .NET, MS SQL, web app dev, source control
