About the Role

MWH is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for general accounting functions. This is a full-time, regular position, and will be based onsite in Broomfield, CO.

Essential Functions



  • Process and submit all invoices for approval into Workflow
  • Answer all internal and external emails and calls to AP Inquiry
  • Review monthly vendor statements
  • Pull monthly invoices from online accounts
  • Process incoming regular mail - date stamp and scan
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including vendors, facilities, and colleagues
  • Follow company processes, controls, and policies
  • Back up other team members as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by management


Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field with 0-3 years of experience
  • Strong technology skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude with eagerness to learn and grow professionally
  • Strong team player mentality with collaborative work style
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines


Preferred Qualifications



  • Recent college graduate with coursework in accounting or finance
  • Experience in the engineering and/or construction industry
  • Experience with ERP systems (CMiC software knowledge and skills a bonus)
  • Previous internship or work experience in accounts payable or accounting functions
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software systems and processes
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to team success and company goals
