GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: To effectively plan, monitor, and control manufactured and purchased parts required to meet the Master Production Schedule. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Communicates departmental needs and shortages through all production flow paths in order to meet schedule. Interfaces with various support functions to prevent schedule misses. Provides feedback to the Production Control Analyst and Master Scheduler in order to prioritize and balance workloads. iProvide assistance to the Production Control Analyst and departmental supervisors to ensure open issues are resolved in a timely manner. Tracks outsourced materials. Coordinates manufacturing of spare parts in order to maintain schedule requirements. iRecommend continuous improvements. Other Job Functions Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Keyword: Production, Manufacturing, DoD, Shelters, Specialist Required Experience: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards. Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors. Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary. Ability to adhere to workplace rules. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED required. 1 to 2 years production control experience. Proficient in use of MS Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Office environment. Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones). Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. From: Kratos Defense
