Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position $100,000-$125,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Position Location: Coronado, CA Telework/Work-from-Home Authorized: Yes - When Authorized/Hybrid About the Role: Lead tactical field support for SOF missions worldwide. Serve as the senior SME supporting software, hardware, training, and integration activities across multiple special operations units and mission types.
- Deliver Level I/II support for tactical software, geospatial data, mission planning hardware/software, and upgrades.
- Maintain and troubleshoot SOMPE suite, perform software updates, and manage imagery/map data.
- Provide network administration support across SIPRNET/NIPRNET environments.
- Conduct cadre-level training and support train-the-trainer programs.
- Support operational enhancements, test software/hardware, and provide MPE recommendations.
- Support STIGs, ATOs, and deployment of new technologies and systems.
- Act as lead for field-testing, integration planning, and TAK server maintenance.
- Provide Tier 1-3 Help Desk support, and analyze GIS and FAA-compliant map data.
- Design training curriculums and deliver instruction to operational/deployed units.
- Interface with government agencies and USSOCOM program offices for capability alignment.
Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years operational experience with or supporting an organization's: navigation and mission planning techniques including preparation and check out of flight plans for aircraft weapons systems OR mission planning computer systems, communications, mission equipment, and planning techniques including preparation of unit mission plans for conduct of peacetime and wartime special operations missions
- In addition, specific experience in the following areas/programs depending on the assigned component:
- DoD 8570 IAT Level 2, or higher certification (IE: Security +)
- Other, customer- specific planning & execution software applications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline; or Technical School Certificate related to computer systems OR the equivalent technical training with experience that aligns directly to the duties to be performed in lieu of degree for specific user units
Certificate, License, and Registration Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a Network+ or Security+ dependent upon location
Other Required Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Security Clearance Requirements: Secret Clearance
Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance US Citizenship Requirements: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens. |
