Professional Summary: We are seeking a dependable and proactive On-Site Physical Security & Event Support Specialist to join our physical security team. This newly created, on-site role is essential to supporting the increasing volume of internal events and facility upgrades. Unlike remote-based security staff, this position requires a consistent physical presence to ensure smooth operations, enforce security protocols, and respond swiftly to incidents. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of professionalism, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment. Key Responsibilities: * Work Badge Management: Issue and verify badges for employees, vendors, and guests during events; ensure badge compliance and maintain accurate logs using Envoy. * Security Checkpoint Operations: Staff designated entry points, such as in-house event centers, and provide guidance to attendees regarding security protocols and event directions. * Event Security Oversight: Monitor event areas for safety concerns, enforce venue policies, and respond to incidents professionally. * Emergency Coordination: Collaborate with internal security teams, building security, and emergency services as needed. * Surveillance Monitoring: Monitor security cameras and badge systems to ensure real-time situational awareness. * Roving Security Duties: Conduct regular patrols of the Bellevue office to identify and address potential security risks. * Facility Support: Assist the Physical Security Specialist in managing building keys and supporting facility-related security needs. Qualifications: Required: * Strong communication and customer service skills * Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations * Familiarity with badge systems and basic security equipment * Willingness to obtain and maintain industry-standard certifications (e.g., PSP, CPP via ASIS) within 2 years of hire Preferred: * Prior experience in event or corporate security * Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
