Join IMEG as a Sustainability & Innovation Intern in Naperville, IL, Madison, WI, or St Louis, MO. In this 10-12 week program, you'll support the Innovation team by providing technical assistance, documenting workflows, and exploring new technologies that drive strategic projects. You'll contribute to early-stage initiatives, shadow senior specialists, and gain hands-on experience with tools and methods shaping the firm of the future. Principal Responsibilities

• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas for innovation projects
• Assist in data collection and reporting for Innovation projects
• Assist with researching emerging technologies related to Innovation team objectives
• Present research findings and project progress to the Innovation team
• Maintain an innovation log to track ideas, issues, and improvements during projects
• Provide team and engineer support (virtual and on-site) by troubleshooting and assisting with technology issues
• Document processes and workflows to support knowledge sharing and consistency

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent required
• Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred
• Strong interest in innovation
• Working knowledge of data principles, tools, and frameworks
• Working knowledge of engineering principles
• Proficient with MS Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups

Hourly Range $22.00 - $24.00. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
