Internship Overview: We are seeking motivated students to join our Summer 2026 Internship Program in Procurement and Supply Chain Management. As a Buyer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting sourcing, purchasing, contracts, and materials management that keep our operations running smoothly. Interns will work with experienced procurement professionals and contribute to projects that directly support the utility's mission.
What You'll Do: * Assist buyers with preparing and processing purchase requisitions and orders * Research suppliers, pricing, and product specifications * Support bid solicitation, contract evaluation, and vendor communication * Help track inventory levels and materials usage for operations and maintenance * Participate in cross-departmental projects that improve supply chain efficiency

Additional Information: * Internships begin on May 18, 2026 * Interns will work 40 hours per week for a period of 10-12 weeks Position Requirements
Qualified candidates must: * Be pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management or a Business related field of study * Have completed their first year at a 2-year college/university (transfer program) or 4-year college/university * Be enrolled as a full-time student Fall 2026 * Successfully undergo pre-employment physical and drug screen if selected for this position
