Are you passionate about finance and looking for a role where your analyses directly influence the strategic direction of projects and transactions? We are on the hunt for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team. Your work will be crucial in guiding the financial health and decision-making processes of our company.

In this role, your day-to-day will involve diving deep into financial and business-related analyses, assessing the impact of various projects, systems, and transactions. You will be responsible for conducting thorough research in areas such as financial performance, rate of return, depreciation, and investment, among others. Your ability to prepare accurate forecasts and analyze trends across manufacturing, sales, and finance will be invaluable.

You will not only participate in the formulation of department budgets but also ensure the accuracy of departmental expenses versus budget through meticulous review and issuing of monthly variance statements. Your insights will inform management reports, recommending actions or changes for assigned projects. This role also offers the opportunity to participate in the development of department procedures and performance measures, as well as conduct special financial and business-related studies.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in accounting or finance reflecting increasing levels or responsibility; or Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of Gallo experience to include business analytics and financial modeling work.
  • Experience with MS Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You'll Stand Out

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance plus 5 years' experience in accounting or finance reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Experience writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers and customers.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Experience performing work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult in character, usually involving limited responsibility, requiring frequent evaluation, originality or ingenuity.
  • Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization.
