ThinkTek was formed with the specific purpose of providing its clients a tailored solution around Program & Project Management, Strategic Planning, and IT Operations.

Position Description:
ThinkTek is seeking an Enterprise Architect with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide IT solutions to support federal modernization initiatives. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for developing enterprise architecture frameworks, aligning IT strategy with business goals, and guiding technology decisions across systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure that technology investments align with mission objectives, are cost-effective, and comply with security and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  Develop and maintain enterprise architecture roadmaps that align IT investments with organizational strategy.

  
  
• 
  

  Provide guidance on technology adoption, integration, and modernization efforts.

  
  
• 
  

  Define and enforce enterprise architecture principles, standards, and best practices.

  
  
• 
  

  Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment between mission needs, technical requirements, and system capabilities.

  
  
• 
  

  Evaluate current systems and recommend future-state architectures that improve performance, scalability, and security.

  
  
• 
  

  Document architecture designs, system interfaces, and data flows.

  
  
• 
  

  Support program reviews, governance processes, and decision-making with technical expertise.

  
  
• 
  

  Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams to ensure architecture consistency and compliance.

  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 
  

  Active DoD Secret Clearance (minimum).

  
  
• 
  

  8+ years of experience in IT architecture, systems engineering, or enterprise solution design.

  
  
• 
  

  Proven experience developing enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, DoDAF, or similar).

  
  
• 
  

  Strong understanding of cloud computing, cybersecurity principles, data integration, and system interoperability.

  
  
• 
  

  Demonstrated ability to align IT solutions with business strategy and mission objectives.

  
  
• 
  

  Proficiency with enterprise architecture tools (e.g., Sparx EA, System Architect, or similar).

  
  
• 
  

  Excellent communication skills, capable of working across technical and non-technical teams.

  
  
• 
  

  Experience supporting federal government programs or large-scale IT transformation initiatives.
