Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Sr Supply Chain Coordinator, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Supply Chain Coordinator position is responsible to support and execute the tactical purchasing requirements of Product Life Cycle project sourcing strategies and/or Global Supply Chain strategies s and support GSC PLC PM. What You Will Be Doing:
- Supports planning, responsible for the coordination and administration of one or more strategic programs, including communication and training of members.
- Independently plans and executes project actions, RFQs, Purchase Orders (PO's) in support of all customer requirements and in compliance with internal and external requirements, including government regulations when applicable. This includes engagement with supply base, reporting status, tracking purchased items through to stock and payment. Engages with suppliers as required to expedite critical issues involving the procurement of services, materials, supplies or products.
- Drives the parts Transition to Production process. Monitors progress and timing to ensure deliverables are met at PLC gateways.
- Accountable for deliverable completion and escalates issues preventing completion to PLC Sourcing Project Manager. Responsible for tactical completion of part transition.
- Facilitates Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) from order placement through approval. Includes engagement with suppliers, Operations and Engineering for corrections, missing elements, engineering changes or other gaps preventing process completion, as required.
- Proficient in PPAP process, proactively seeks to understand if supplier gaps exist and manages areas of concerns.
- Proactively drives resolution, mitigates issues and escalates as appropriate.
- In PLC Sourcing: Manages any changes impacting cost and delivery, inventory and Sourcing Strategy.
- Minimal oversight from PLC (Product Life Cycle) Sourcing Project Manager, manages and engages with Engineering, Global Sourcing, and other cross functional groups to drive project requirements for minor scope, derivative projects or same-as-except projects. Represents Global Sourcing as the lead or key point of contact and will actively understand when appropriate and escalate to the PLC Sourcing Project Manager for support. Responsible for completion of PLC sourcing project deliverables.
What We Are Looking For:
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) preferred
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing in an industrial manufacturing environment
- 2-5 years of procurement experience
