Internship Overview: We are seeking motivated students to join our Summer 2026 Internship Program in Biological Services. This internship offers hands-on experience assisting Environmental Technicians/Specialists with aquatic plant control, water quality monitoring, laboratory analysis, special projects, equipment maintenance, and other duties as required by supervision.
What You'll Do: * Assist with field sampling of water, fish, and aquatic organisms * Support biological surveys, habitat assessments, and ecological studies * Collect, process, and analyze environmental data for compliance and research projects * Participate in monitoring programs for fish populations, aquatic vegetation, and water quality

Additional Information: * Internships begin on May 18, 2026 * Interns will work 40 hours per week for a period of 10-12 weeks Position Requirements
Qualified candidates must: * Be pursuing a degree in Biology, Wildlife Management or other environmental related field of study * Have completed their first year at a 2-year college/university (transfer program) or 4-year college/university * Be enrolled as a full-time student Fall 2026 * Successfully undergo pre-employment physical and drug screen if selected for this position
