Technician - Powder Coat

Position Title: Powder Coating Technician

Reporting to: Production Manager

Department: Manufacturing

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Setup and operate spray guns and ovens

* Mask parts according to prints

* Monitor parts throughout the baking cycle

* Inspect components after coating for quality

* Package product in an efficient manner

* Communicate effectively with team members and management

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment

* Ensure all tools/equipment are returned to assigned place when not in use

QUALIFICATIONS

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Experience in powder coating environment is a plus, but not required

* Forklift experience preferred

* Ability to wear a respirator

* Familiarity with engineering drawings preferred

* Must be detail oriented

WORK CONDITIONS

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
